3rd graders learn to observe

Today I volunteered with a local birding program to teach 3rd graders about birding. they were great kids, seemed interested, and always paid attention. Some of them even pointed out an Olive-Sided Flycatcher and a Cliff Swallow. A great experience for me, I think it was good for the kids too!
